Helping detransitioners with medical needs

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

A lot has happened in our society and culture. People who struggle with transgender ideation have undergone medical interventions that have not and will never help them lead a better life.

Building resilience is a journey. One of the first steps is to get medical assistance to stabilize medical conditions and begin a path to a healthier future. We are trying to build a network of healthcare professionals that can help those in need on the journey understanding that the destination will be different for everyone and the goal is resilience that lasts.

I transitioned at a young age, and now I’m a lifelong patient of hormone replacement therapy. Modern medical culture and insurance codes can be inflexible, and difficult for someone who’s still young and unestablished. The Resilience Health Network has helped me find independent providers willing to prescribe and monitor my hormone replacement therapy, with sensitivity and awareness about my past.
